Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi

Judge Michael Malihi was appointed in 1995. He has served as Deputy Chief Judge to Hon. Chief Judge Mark A. Dickerson (1988-2000), Hon. Chief Judge Lois F. Oakley (2000-2010), and Hon. Chief Judge Maxwell Wood (since 2010). Judge Malihi serves as the principal advisor to the Chief Judge on all legal and administrative matters and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Court. Judge Malihi has served in various capacities since he was appointed Judge, including service as an Administrative Law Judge and Division Director. Judge Malihi adjudicates cases in the Fulton County Circuit. In addition, he adjudicates complex litigation throughout the State. Judge Malihi graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from University of Alabama. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law.
